ON THE GIANT TREE
Jirapet, Baan Unrak kid, climbs a magnificent tree by a river in the jungle.

THE BIG CLEANING
School is out for the holidays. However, duties come first. And so, the children embark on the big cleaning of the Home all together.

THE PIRATE SHIP
The children feel like pirates while taking control of a moored floating house. This bamboo structure is used by Baan Unrak farmers to transport goats to graze across the lake.

SUSPENDED
Jirapet, Baan Unrak kid, hangs from a branch in the jungle, hovering among mighty trees.

WATER GAMES

WILD ADVENTURE
The joy you feel when you find a new great spot along the river...
Like reptiles, Baan Unrak children come out of the water and slowly ascend a rock wall in the jungle.

THE KID IN THE PLASTER CAST

BEACH SCENE

ESCAPE FROM TRASH WORLD
The children don't despair for all the plastic contaminating the sea. Instead, they collect it and use it as floaters on a bamboo raft they built. On it, they set sail led by Aung Ko Soe, 14 years old, paddling with a foam-capped stick. The other children hold on as they can to the sinking raft.

SANDBOY
Jirapet, 11, covered with sand up to the head on the beach. Just for fun.

SHADOW PLAY

THE MONK AND SPIDER-PAT
Anantapat, 5, in a Spider-Man outfit, meets a Buddhist monk in Baan Unrak office. Pat is the son of Kratae, single mother working as office staff at the Children's Home. The monk had come that day bringing another boy, asking the foundation to take care of him.

YOGA
The children practice yoga in the meditation room of the "Home of Joy". They are about to form a collective figure and, in the background, a child is helped to get into the Wheel Pose, giving the impression of falling, or fainting. In the scene, time stands still.

OUR UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH
Joining forces, the children move out the heavy refrigerators and clean up the whole kitchen, leaving the space shiny.

LAKE FARM LOVE

THE BLESSING
Christmas Eve. Tanwar, 2, whistle and cow cloak, is baby Jesus in the live Nativity scene at Baan Unrak. In the arms of Somsi, 14, as the Virgin Mary, he is blessing Krishna, 12, as a Wise Man in Santa's hat.

OFF TO SCHOOL
7:30 AM. Baan Unrak truck is ready to leave the "Home of Joy", packed with all the children heading to school.
